Welcome to Chestnut

My name is Vic Warburton and I teach in Chestnut class, which is a Year 6 class. We have been working hard on our topics which are World War One and World War Two for History and Light is our Science topic.

Homework in Chestnut Class

We have started a new way of approaching homework in our class. Your child will have come home with a green homework book with a task sheet inside. There are 12 tasks to choose from and they are a range of English, Maths and Topic related activities. The children know to choose one activity per week and complete it in their homework book.

Homework books are due in on a Wednesday and will be handed back out to the children every Thursday.

So far most children in Chestnut Class have completed several pieces already and some have even done extra! What a fab attitude to home learning!
