Welcome to Snowdrop class!

In Snowdrop class we love learning through play and this is captured within our indoor and outdoor learning areas. Throughout the year the children will develop their language skills, emotions, social and intellectual skills and imagination through their play, becoming creative and independent learners. As their class teacher I will build upon the children's interests and capture their imagination through engaging topics in order to extend their learning, with the help of our amazing TA's. Across the year we have planned trips within the local and wider community and have school visitors from local 'superheroes', such as fire fighers, nurses and animal conservationists. This page is to celebrate the fantastic work that the children achieve and to share the fun we have in Snowdrop class!

Welcome back! Autumn Term 1

Hello and welcome back to Snowdrop class 2017-18! This first half term is a very exciting time for all of our new Snowdrops as they start their adventure into full time school. This first half term our class topic is 'All about me'. As part of this topic we will be learning about each other, our likes and dislikes, our families, homes and traditions. We will also be learning about school life, adapting to the new routines and class rules. As we become more settled we will be begin our new topic of 'Fairytales and Superheroes', sharing our favourite stories and talking to local heroes in our community.

We look forward to sharing our journey with you, as we make new friendships and learn about our new class.
