Starting School

Welcome to Mercers Wood Academy

We are delighted to hear that your child has been allocated a place for September 2020. We look forward to working with you as they prepare for ‘big school’ and welcoming you all into our school community.

Usually at this time, we would write and invite you to a meeting in June to begin our transition program but with the uncertainty of how long school restrictions will be in place for this isn’t currently the case. 

Please be assured that we are working on resources and our information packs have been emailed out to you. We aim to give you and your child all of the resources that you need for their start at school to be a positive one.  We are already looking at alternative options to enable your child to meet their teacher as at present we cannot do this in person.
