Sarah Walker

I am an experienced finance, operations, people, contracts and project manager, with over 20 years’ experience in the management of government funded service delivery. My recent career in School Business Management has given me an in depth knowledge of school finance which I can use to support Tall Oaks, along with an understanding of issues and challenges facing a small Multi Academy Trust. Before working in schools, I had a successful background in operational and contract management, working with teams of people to deliver excellent service against complex delivery targets, whilst improving individual and team motivation and results.

As Area Manager for the Business Link business advice service I had responsibility for the Lincolnshire & Rutland area office, a team of 30 remote working business advisers, multiple contracts and service delivery targets, service improvement initiatives and local partnership development. I am used to leading and guiding large multi-disciplinary teams. Skills I have gained through my varied career include: People Management and Motivation, Change Management, Team Building, Staff Training and Development, Business Planning, Budget Management, Operational Management, Forecasting/Planning, Performance Management, Project Management, Relationship Building, Process Development, Auditing, Quality Management and Facilitation.
