Trust Governance Overview

Governance at Tall Oaks Academy Trust is split into three levels:
 

Academy Committees

Each Academy Committee is made up of community, parent and staff representatives. Academy Committee members take responsibility for holding leaders to account for the day-to-day running of the school, education standards, safeguarding and other school-specific areas.

Trustees

Our Trustees have responsibility for the strategic direction of the Trust. Trustees oversee the financial and legal operation of the Trust and act as ‘critical friends’ to the senior leaders in the Trust, holding them to account for the performance of the schools.

The Trust also has two additional committees; Finance Audit & Operations and Curriculum, Standards & Outcomes.

Members

Our Members oversee the Board of Trustees, ensuring that Trustees discharge their duties in accordance to the agreed frameworks.
